Introduction:
A two-week evangelical outreach effort was conducted in Kisenyi, Kitovu, centered on the theme “Soon We Shall Be Home.” The team, led by Pr Waibiru Wycliff, aimed to share the Gospel and remind the community that our eternal home is in Heaven.
Outreach Activities:
Door-to-door evangelism: The team visited numerous homes, sharing the Gospel and praying with residents.
Open-air preaching: Pr Waibiru and the team conducted public preaching sessions, emphasizing the theme and drawing in crowds.
Personal testimonies: Team members shared their personal stories of faith, inspiring others to consider the Gospel.
Bible studies and discipleship sessions: The team conducted in-depth studies and provided guidance for new believers.
Family Life and Health Sessions: The team conducted in-depth sessions that empowered the community
Results:
48 people (18 from prison) accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Over 100 individuals received prayer and counselling.
The local community was impacted by the team’s presence and message.
Highlights:
The theme “Soon We Shall Be Home” resonated deeply with the community, sparking meaningful conversations about eternity.
The team witnessed a significant interest in spiritual matters, with many seeking guidance and prayer.
Conclusion:
The two-week evangelical outreach effort in Kisenyi was a blessing, with 32 individuals accepting Christ and many more impacted by the Gospel. Pr Waibiru and the team demonstrated dedication and passion for sharing the love of Christ. We praise God for the fruit of this outreach and look forward to continued ministry in the area with already has a Sabbath School.
